Federal Guidance for School Emergency Plans
Several Federal agencies (Department of Education, FEMA, Department of Justice, FBI, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Health and Human Services) worked together to produce Guide for Developing High-Quality School Emergency Operations Plans for K-12 schools.
Another excellent Federal resource is Safer, Stronger, Smarter: A Guide to Improving School Natural Hazard Safety from FEMA.
